NAME THAT ANIMAL

EFFECT: You predict the animal picked from a long list.

SECRET: Cut a slot in the top of a shoe box and tape a small box or container under the lid’s top to catch the slips of paper that will be dropped in. Write the name of an animal ten ( 10 ) or more times on slips of paper.

Hand out ten ( 10 ) or more slips of BLANK paper and ask your audience to write down the name of an animal. The folded paper is placed into the box through the slit. ( They actually go into the hidden box you taped there. )

Remove the lid from the shoe box and ask ONE person to remove ONE ( 1 ) slip of paper.

Have them keep the paper folded. PREDICT the animal picked ( all the slips are the same ).

Have them unfold the paper and announce the animal picked was the one you predicted.
